Sahara Mart is a family owned and operated grocery with a range of products from the exotic to the ordinary. Since its beginning in 1986, it has continued to grow, from a tiny store at the corner of two alleys between Third and Fourth Streets, to a larger, more prominent location at Second and Walnut. In October of 2008, its latest location opened its doors on Third Street across from Eastland Plaza. This continued growth is due to one factor: satisfied customers.
